As a rural health and wellness leader, Dr. Candace McMillon-Dantley has served rural communities for over a decade as a health practitioner, health and wellness educator, and health program coordinator. 

​

She noticed there were unique barriers to health and wellness education and opportunities in minority and rural communities. WellPower was created to empower communities to take charge of their health and well-being.
